Our current research project is the ‘Working women of Brighton & Hove in the 20th Century’ project. Our aim is to research and map significant women in Brighton & Hove such as the female workers at Brighton’s once iconic store, Hanningtons, or landladies, publicans and cook’s from the hospitality trade.
